I think they'd make a cute family, especially Pocahontas who can help resolve their problems in some form or the other.
EDIT:
Pocahontas would understand the footsteps of a stranger and help him on the road to redemption. Along the way, she encounters Koda, a young and orphaned grizzly bear cub no thanks to Kenai, and decides to adopt him as her own. Koda immediately bonds with Pocahontas and Pocahontas bonds with Kenai and Koda. Kenai feels entitled to protect his family.
